I've Saved $600+ Using CouponCabin
Updated: Jun 12, 2024
Many years ago, I worked for a coupon code site that was one of the first around. That’s when I was first introduced to the joys of saving your hard-earned cash on most things you can buy online. Not everything was sold online back then like it is now. Clipping actual paper coupons vs app-based coupons was popular.
I don’t like holding paper coupons which I will likely lose and/or damage, so online coupons have always been awesome. There are so many coupon sites out there now, like RetailMeNot, SlickDeals or Rakuten. I, personally, have found loyalty with CouponCabin.com due to their great user experience. I have saved $600+ over the years simply by making a it habit to check CouponCabin.com for coupon codes and/or cash back deals before I buy anything online. See a screenshot of my Lifetime Earnings, for which CouponCabin conveniently shows on your Cash Back Activity page.
They have in-store coupons as well. See this example for JOANN for 40% off of an in-store purchase.
CouponCabin has also gotten into:
The gift card game (similar to Raise.com) where you get a percentage back when purchasing a gift card. You can earn up to 12% back on 120+ digital gift cards. They are available right after purchase. No long processing time! See the example below for Macy’s for 3.8% back when you buy eGift Cards.
The cash back game - which I seem to be taking advantage of even more than coupon codes, these days. CouponCabin boasts to:
“pay more cash back than Rakuten”
“pay our members faster.”
I have yet to try Rakuten, but I can say that the cash back does come back pretty quickly!
Here is an example of 7% back at Macy’s:
Here is a live example where I saved at ULTA by using a coupon code from CouponCabin:
The subtotal was $58.
The coupon code discount gave me $15 off.
I used my ULTA Ultimate Rewards discount credit for $8 off.
I already had a gift card I needed to use, but I could have purchased a discounted gift card from CouponCabin which would have given me another 7% off this purchase (or another $2.63 off).
There are significant savings to be had by always checking a coupon site before you purchase anything online. If you remain loyal to one or two, some offer more exclusive deals and cashback opportunities for your loyalty.
They often have “Members Only” deals like this one from Macy’s, where they offer Limited Qualities for only a set number of first come, first served members. The deals are locked until a specific time. This sense of urgency creates more excitement around taking advantage of deals and saving money!
